i participated in a medical debark

i am officially the medical debark/isolation escort of the front office.

for the past 3 cruises, each time there is an isolation guest that needs to be escorted off the ship during debark, i've been the one christianne chooses to perform the task.

today we had a medical disembarkation. one of our guests had been having a difficult time breathing and it was decided by the physician onboard that she be sent home for further medical attention.

normally, during medical debarks, it's a member of the medical staff that accompanies the guest off the ship. this time, since the medical staff was 1 member short, it was decided that i assist in the debark.

so i boarded the tender and comforted the passengers during the ride to the dock. i was basically a familiar face among a group of strangers.

it was an exhilarating experience.

i ate at the pinnacle grill

for starters i had the coconut milk chicken thai soup.

the entree i chose was lamb chops with apple chutney & mint sauces. the sidings i chose were lemon basmati rice and creamed spinach.

for dessert, the ultimate chocolate volcano cake.

everything was delicious.

drama

there's a lot of drama in the world right now.

you don't have to invite drama into your life, much less create some for yourself. and then you start acting up and complaining about it when it's finally there. what's the point? is it something you enjoy because it makes you the center of attention?

i just don't get it.
